Become a Catalyst for Positive Change

We wish to speak about the positive transformation of old patterns of belief and behavior that have dominated existence on this planet for centuries and even millennia. Nothing in existence ever ends from an energetic perspective. However, all energy is constantly shifting and is either evolving or devolving. As you approach the start of a new decade, you can more quickly accelerate the evolution of unwanted patterns toward greater light. You do this through your focused intent.

That which you consider an undesirable circumstance, object, or entity only exists in its undesirable form because of past energetic devolution. That which is pure, light and beneficial can devolve into that which is dense and destructive. And that which is dense and destructive—what you call “evil”—can evolve into that which is light and loving. The catalyst for the transformation in both cases is consciousness.

Consciousness is the Catalyst

You have heard it said many times by speakers of Truth that you create your reality with your thoughts. Even those who are not deeply involved in a conscious Spiritual path have some context for this Core Truth because it has been written and talked about quite a bit in the past several decades, even by those who live a very physically focused existence. For example, most humans in the developed world are introduced at a young age to the idea that a positive mental attitude will enhance their ability to perform well in sports or academics. The “mental game” is often discussed as being equally important to physical training.

For many, their consideration of the power behind this catalyst of human thought doesn’t go much deeper than visualizing success in the game and knowing that there is some tangible connection with results. In other words, they believe that holding a positive attitude works and practice it selectively as directed by coaches and teachers, but they take it no further.

Let’s take a deeper look at what’s happening here. When you visualize yourself performing well in a team sport—let’s say soccer (or football for our friends outside the US and Canada)—you are calling forth a reality you wish to manifest. The Universe responds to your request immediately and starts to arrange circumstances to meet it. In soccer, there are 21 other players on the field besides yourself. Half of them are on your side and half of them are on the opposing team. But each and every one of them is your ally in manifesting the reality that you desire. Likewise, you are an ally in manifesting the realities they desire, as are all the fans who support the teams. Each human consciousness that focuses on the game has an impact on what takes place because each is a powerful catalyst for manifestation in the physical world.

Now, what emotions and thoughts are at play in the course of a sporting match like soccer? There is excitement and optimism as the game begins. There is also a measure of fear and anxiety over what the outcome will be. Perhaps there is anger or sadness lingering from the outcome of recent matches. Maybe there is unhappiness that a certain player is on the field after recent poor performance. Perhaps there is fear about whether a player has fully healed from a recent injury and will be in top form. All these feelings and thoughts are likely running intermittently through the players’ physical bodies and minds. The average player will cycle through many thoughts that range from, “I know I’m going to do very well” to “I hope I don’t screw it up.”

These emotions and the thoughts that accompany them are at work in the course of the game to influence the outcome. That is why you recognize a home field advantage in sports. There are usually more people intensely focused on an outcome in which the home team wins, and so teams more often do win at home. However, if the fans who show up at the field are expressing more anxiety and fear about the outcome than they are certainty about winning, that will contribute to the potential for a loss.

The Universal Balance

You see, in every circumstance, the outcome is all about the balance of positive and negative, or light and dark. In very simple terms, your desire for a win and all the wonderful feelings that surround the focus of that desire is light, and your fear about a potential loss is dark. Millions of people may be watching the match, and each one is influencing the outcome by their thoughts and feelings. Each one is placing requests to the Universe moment by moment over the course of the game. The Universe continually gathers up those requests and actively creates the results being requested. That is why when a team or player starts to make frequent missteps, it leads to what you call a “slump” in their game. If enough misses happen, the millions of consciousness who pay attention start to think, “He always flubs it at the last minute” or “They have really been missing a lot of shots this season.” Then you start to see more and more of the same results until something happens to spark a different expectation in the player, the team, and the fans.

The opposite is also true. That’s why confident players who perform with a high degree of accuracy usually continue to do so. Their slumps are infrequent and short-lived because the dominant expectation of the collective consciousness is that those players will do well. That is also why the top teams often stay at the top when they maintain a core group of high-performing players.

You may say, “Surely it’s not about that as much as it is about which team has the top players and how well they are managed.” But we want you to understand that players arrive at the top of their game through preparation that always includes both a strong desire to win and consistent positive expectation that they will do so. And it doesn’t end there. Every consciousness paying attention to the game has an impact on the outcome every single time. Each player and fan are actively co-creating of the game’s outcome. It is the balance of the consciousness of all cooperative components that leads to the result.

Now, does this mean that if millions of people are routing against your team, they override the efforts of the players on the field? Not at all, for everyone is always the creator of their own personal experience. To understand the subtle difference, you must consider the context of the experience being created. If a soccer player has unshakeable faith in her ability to do well, she will do well despite how the rest of the team does. You see it all the time—the team does not win, but certain players perform extremely well, nonetheless. The balance of positive vs. negative expectation from the collective consciousness affects the collective outcome—how the teams perform as a whole—but it does not override the focused positive intent of individual players with respect to their own performance.

Evolution and Devolution

With that in mind, let’s return to the idea of evolution and devolution of energy. Think of something that you have a neutral attitude toward—neither positive nor negative. There are many things in your daily existence you are neutral about—things that you see and interact with in a utilitarian way. For example, a throw-pillow on your sofa. You might look at the pillow several times a day and not even notice it. Your ambivalence toward it means that it has little impact on the balance of desirable and undesirable circumstances in your life.

But what happens when you start to have a negative point of view about the throw pillow? What if every time you look at it you think, “I hate that thing. It’s so ugly.” Now you have qualified the energy you give to the pillow. You have, through your negative judgment, moved the energy from a place of neutrality toward a place of negativity—toward darkness. This then adds to the balance of dark energy vs. light energy in your life experience, which means you are more apt to judge other objects and circumstances negatively. If you continue to indulge the negative judgment, you may soon find yourself in an energetic slump. You may find yourself thinking, “Why are things not going well for me?” Or, “I seem to keep hitting these setbacks and nothing happens easily.” Kind of like the star player who has demonstrated she has skill to hit the goal time after time, and yet she hasn’t been able to do so for months. It is simply the devolution of consciousness affecting the results achieved.

This, my friends, is why it is so very important that you remain focused only on that which is positive. This is why many contemporary teachers of Spiritual principles have said that nothing is more important than positive thinking and feeling. It really is a simple as what you think and feel moment by moment. If you think, “I love that throw pillow. The color is beautiful and I like how it supports me when I sit on the sofa,” you are contributing more light energy to the world. In so doing you are adding more light to the collective consciousness of humanity. Conversely, if you think, “I hate that ugly throw pillow,” you are adding darkness to the collective consciousness.  Every thought and feeling counts. Each one is contributing to the balance of dark and light. And each one attracts more of that which is an energetic match to it. This is how thoughts and feelings evolve toward more light or devolve toward more darkness.

It can be challenging as a human to really understand this. It seems odd, doesn’t it, that your seemingly idle thought about a throw pillow or some other inanimate object has a greater impact on anything. And yet, you have all heard about the inter-connectivity of all things in Creation. Do you believe it? If you do, why would you ever choose to see anything in creation in a negative way?

You see, absent human judgment, everything is inherently neutral. It is only the attention of a human mind and the judgment that goes along with that attention that makes something “good” or “bad”. When your team loses, you judge that to be bad, but millions of others judge it to be good. It is inherently neither good nor bad, but it becomes one or the other through your judgment and your neighbor’s judgment.

It matters whether you judge something as positive or negative because the Law of Attraction draws to you more conditions that vibrate at the frequency of your dominant vibration. This is the order of existence in the physical dimension. It is law. Thus, positive, loving energy can devolve into greater darkness, resulting in unwanted manifestations. This is why you have had periods on this planet that you call “dark ages” and those which you call “ages of enlightenment”. Whether the dominant energy goes toward the light or the dark is the result of the collective consciousness of humanity, which is simply the sum of individual consciousnesses.

Leave No Stone Unturned

So, here you are at the dawn of a new decade. For many, things look pretty dark. For others, they are full of light and promise. Many things have been revealed that are unsettling, and many more will be revealed in the years to come. How will you judge these things? Even when something seems completely out of step with your own values—your own sense of right and wrong—will you surround it with love and hope, or will you add to the fear and despair that made such circumstances possible to begin with? This is important, my friends. You are here for a reason at this time. You are here to contribute to the collective consciousness in ways that will aid the evolution toward greater light on this planet. Greater light means greater love, compassion, understanding, patience, and forgiveness. This is where the planet is headed, despite what you see around you that is unsettling.

We encourage you to leave no stone unturned in your world. Many things exist on this planet that need to be brought into the light. Many things. Turn the stones over and shine the light on what is there. Even if it looks ugly, give thanks that the light is now being shone upon it, and amplify that light with your positive judgment and expectation. Say out loud, “It is a good thing that this which was once hidden is now made visible, for now we can transmute it back into the higher light from which it once came. No longer will it be allowed to fester and grow in a dark energy. I surround it with my love and thereby speed it’s path of evolution.”

Many things exist on this planet that need to be brought into the light. Many things. Turn the stones over and shine the light on what is there.

There are many who will not understand this today, but from the perspective of the non-physical, it matters not whether you are talking about a throw pillow, a sports team, or a national policy. What matters is the thought and feeling you attribute to each. All circumstances in your life exist only as focal points for the catalyst of your human mind and emotional nature to act upon with more love or more fear. Moment by moment, day by day, year by year, you are all contributing to the balance of light and dark on this planet. You are either evolving toward greater love or devolving toward greater fear. You are the master of your reality.

When it looks like your team is losing, and maybe the fans aren’t on your side anymore, you are in control of how your personal game goes. Are you going to have a good game today? What about tomorrow? Are you going to help create positive momentum for all the other players who don’t know how powerful they are? Are you going to model the path of energetic evolution?

Of course you are! Go look at your throw pillow and find something to love about it. Then do that with everyone and everything you encounter today. Do it again tomorrow. And do it every day for the rest of your life. That is how you turn the tide, my friends. Love is infinitely more powerful than fear, and you have the power to choose one over the other every second of your life. No more excuses. Like the company whose logo you see in every sporting event says, “Just do it.”

Blessings to you for a powerful awakening in the New Year.
